General Spanish courses will improve a wide range of skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar.

Students will be able to participate in a variety of situations related to everyday topics that are familiar to them and of personal interest. Likewise, they will be able to understand main and secondary ideas of different discourses in a standard Spanish, and to develop in most communicative situations effectively using different times, to argue points of view and describe experiences and events.

Elementary – Access A1

At the end of this cycle, the student will reach level A1 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching and Evaluation (CEFR). This level will provide basic communicative elements that will allow the student to interact effectively in simple everyday situations.

Basic – plataform A2

At the end of this cycle, the student will reach level A2; will be able to express themselves in simple social exchange situations to refer to practical matters of daily life (personal information, family, shopping, places of interest and occupations, among others), or to present or past events according to their personal experiences, using vocabulary and appropriate structures (related to the topics presented in the content of the program).

Preintermediate – umbral B1

At the end of this cycle, the student will reach level B1; they will be able to participate in a variety of situations related to the daily topics that are familiar to them and of personal interest. In addition, he will be able to understand main and secondary ideas of different discourses in a standard Spanish, and develop in most communicative situations effectively using different times to argue points of view and describe experiences and events.

Intermediate  – advanced B2

At the end of this cycle, the student will obtain a B2 level. He will be able to intervene in communicative interactions that not only require an advanced command of Spanish, but a broad understanding of the social context of the country in which he is learning the language. Understand and express opinions about any literary genre and be able to produce written texts. Thus, the student will have the necessary fluency to express himself, not only in immediate communicative contexts but also in those that demand a higher level of understanding and production of the Spanish language.

Advanced- Proficient User C1

The student is able to understand a wide variety of extensive texts and with a certain level of demand, as well as to recognize in them implicit meanings.  He knows how to express himself in a fluid and spontaneous way without obvious signs of effort to find the right expression.  You can make flexible and effective use of the language for social, academic and professional purposes. It can produce clear, well-structured and detailed texts on topics of certain complexity.
